Reimagined Origin

Dr. Kennedy was a renowned nuclear physicist, deeply affected by the tragic loss of his wife. Grief-stricken, he raised their young son, Radior, in isolation on a mountain rich with unique radium deposits. Driven by his wife’s death, he became obsessed with using the radium to create a superhuman being to protect others from such heartache.

Growing up, Radior knew he was different, possessing powers beyond those of ordinary children. His father had taught him everything he knew, but as Radior matured, he became aware that something was amiss with his father’s methods. One day, while they were hunting in the mountains, Dr. Kennedy finally revealed the truth. He had been feeding Radior trace amounts of radium mixed with a special solution, granting him superhuman strength and invulnerability but leaving him with a crippling weakness: water.

During their hunt, a sudden rainstorm drenched the mountain. Dr. Kennedy, frantic to protect his son, urged Radior to seek shelter. Paralyzed by his fear of water, Radior couldn’t move. Anger and betrayal surged within him as he understood the extent of his father’s deception.

As Radior’s fury intensified, his body emitted potent radiation waves. His father, caught in the blast, suffered grave injuries. In the aftermath, Dr. Kennedy recognized the error of his ways, expressing deep regret for using Radior as an experiment.

Dr. Kennedy, remorseful and guilt-ridden, told Radior he was sorry and wished his mother could see the remarkable young man he had become. He encouraged Radior to use his powers for good and help others by returning to society.

At first, Radior hesitated, but ultimately realized his father’s words rang true. The time had come for him to leave the mountain, learn to control his powers, and use them to make a difference in the world.
