Reimagined Origin

Dan Lang was just a baby when he was first taken to an opera performance. His mother, a world-famous opera singer, would often bring him along to her shows. He would sit in the wings and listen to her perfect pitch, mesmerized by the sound of her voice.

His mother used to tell him that they were descended from the god of sound, and that he too had the gift of a beautiful voice. Dan always dreamed of one day becoming a great singer just like his mother.

But that dream was shattered one fateful night when an earthquake hit the theater where his mother was performing. The entire building crumbled around them, and Dan was trapped in the debris.

As the dust settled, he could hear his mother’s voice calling out to him. Using her last dying breath, she blew open a path to the outside for Dan, sacrificing herself to save her son.

Dan escaped with his life, but he was left with the haunting memory of his mother’s death. He vowed to never forget how he had survived that night and to always honor his mother’s memory by using his voice for good.

As Dan got older, he discovered that he had indeed inherited his mother’s gift. He began experimenting with his voice, finding that he could hit any pitch, resonate any frequency, and impersonate any voice in the world. Dan spent hours each day practicing and pushing the limits of his vocal abilities.

One day, while singing a high note, Dan inadvertently shattered a glass across the room. Startled by this newfound power, he realized that his voice had the potential to do much more than just create beautiful music. With practice, he learned to control the intensity and focus of his voice, able to bring down buildings with a roar or create actual waves out of sound waves.

Inspired by his mother’s sacrifice and determined to use his gift for good, Dan decided to take on the mantle of The Voice. As The Voice, Dan faced many challenges and adversaries, always striving to make the world a better place, and honoring the memory of the woman who gave him life and the gift of an extraordinary voice.
