Reimagined Origin

Peter’s family had been exiled from Egypt generations earlier, and they were never allowed to return. Despite this, the stories of their Egyptian heritage had been passed down through the generations and had sparked Peter’s interest in Egyptology. As a child, his father would tell him stories of their lineage, but he always thought they were just made up. When his father was on his deathbed, he drew a map for Peter and urged him to follow it and uncover the truth about their family’s past.

After years of study and preparation, Peter made the dangerous journey to Egypt, knowing that his family was still banned from entering the country. He traveled under a false identity, always cautious of being discovered. Peter was determined to find answers and understand his family’s connection to the ancient land.

Upon arriving in Egypt, Peter followed the map that his father had given him. It led him deep into the desert, where he discovered the hidden tomb of Kor, an ancient Egyptian priest of the sun god Ra. As Peter explored the tomb, he found a mystic scarab ring, which seemed to call out to him.

As he held the ring, Peter was visited by the cat goddess Bast, who revealed to him that he was the reincarnation of Kor. She told him that the ring had been waiting for him, and that it would grant him great powers. Peter, initially skeptical, decided to rub the ring, and a flash of lightning and thunder transformed him into the Scarab.

Peter suddenly found himself transported to a spectral plane, a realm that existed somewhere between the world of the living and the realm of the gods. As he looked around, bewildered, he saw a familiar figure approaching him: his father.

His father placed a hand on Peter’s shoulder and said, “”You have been given the powers of the Scarab for a reason, Peter. You have a good heart, and you have always been driven by your passion for justice and knowledge. Trust in your abilities and the wisdom of the gods. They will guide you on your path.””

As their conversation came to an end, Peter’s father began to fade away, becoming one with the spectral plane. “”I will always be with you, my son,”” he whispered, just before he vanished entirely.

With a newfound sense of purpose and determination, Peter returned to the earthly plane, ready to embrace his destiny as the Scarab and use his powers to make a difference in the world.
