Johnny Fox is a Golden Age comic book character who first appeared in Champion Comics #6, published in April 1940 by Worth-Carnahan Publications, which later became Harvey Publications. The character was created by writer and artist Paul Porter.

When a series of strange disappearances began to plague his tribe’s reservation, Johnny knew that it was time to harness his unique abilities to help his people. The locals were scared, and no one could determine what was happening to their loved ones. With a deep sense of responsibility, Johnny began investigating the mysterious vanishings, hoping to bring peace to his people.
Among the gifts passed down to Johnny was his grandfather’s invisibility formula, a secret known only to a select few in the tribe. This powerful concoction allowed him to disappear at will, making him nearly undetectable when he needed to move stealthily. As he delved into the case, Johnny started to embrace his gifts and explore the depth of his abilities. He learned to control his heightened senses, agility, and invisibility, using them to uncover clues that others had missed. As he connected with his ancestral roots, he began to understand the importance of preserving his tribe’s traditions and history.
During his investigation, Johnny discovered that the disappearances were linked to supernatural forces tied to the tribe’s ancient past. Realizing that he was uniquely equipped to confront these forces, Johnny embraced his role as a modern-day Seminole warrior.
