Fred Parrish, nicknamed the Blue Bolt, was a talented football player from a rough neighborhood, striving to change his life by earning a scholarship to a prestigious school. With determination and hard work, he had become a force on the field. But despite his success, he struggled with the weight of his past and the pressure to succeed.
An opportunity arose when the head of a renowned school invited him for an interview, hoping to turn Fred into their next football star. Eager to seize the chance, Fred accepted the offer, boarding a private jet sent by the school’s benefactor.
As they flew through the sky, an intense lightning storm caught them off guard. Bolts of lightning struck the plane, causing a catastrophic crash. Miraculously, Fred and a few other passengers survived, but they found themselves stranded in the mountains.
When Fred regained consciousness, he discovered he was on an operating table in a hidden cave, with a mysterious energy source embedded in his chest. A man named Bertoff revealed that he had saved Fred’s life after being struck by lightning repeatedly. The energy source was the only thing keeping him alive.
Bertoff, desperate and on edge, pleaded with Fred to help him fight off the Green Sorceress, a powerful figure who had taken control of the mountain caves. Skeptical and frightened, Fred attempted to escape, only to find that the energy source had granted him super speed.
After discovering his newfound super speed, Fred, now the Blue Bolt, managed to escape Bertoff’s makeshift laboratory within the caves. He found himself alone in the dark, winding tunnels, his heart pounding with fear and confusion. As he grappled with the reality of his situation, Fred began to question his own sanity.
He was a man of action, not one to dwell on emotions, but the weight of his new powers and the mysterious energy source in his chest gnawed at him. He worried about the implications of these powers and the responsibilities they might bring. Despite his fear, Fred realized that he needed to harness his abilities to navigate the treacherous caves and find a way out.
As he delved deeper into the caves, Fred began to uncover the dark secrets behind the Green Sorceress and Bertoff.
The Green Sorceress had conjured the lightning that brought down the plane, and Bertoff, her father, was a brilliant scientist who had created her using the same energy source that now pulsed within Fred.
Over time, the Green Sorceress had grown more powerful and unstable, ultimately becoming a threat to everyone around her. Bertoff, realizing the danger she posed, had tried to stop her, but had failed. In a last-ditch effort to save the innocent lives she sought to control, he had implanted the energy source within Fred, hoping that he might be able to defeat her.
With this newfound knowledge, Fred understood that he was the only one who could stop the Green Sorceress.
